Hello, and welcome to DrawingsByKinney. This site offers the sale of open edition prints and art cards of my original drawings and paintings. I'm a self-representing freelance artist located in Dubuque, Iowa. Realism is my art style... acrylic paints, soft and hard pastels, charcoal and colored pencil are my preferred mediums. I try and make my art interesting by varying the size of both the positive and negative spaces, and careful selection of the color values and tones used in the rendering. Since 2000, I've sold over 4,500 pieces of my art to collectors worldwide; and have 100% positive eBay seller feedbacks... over 1,200 of them to date (knock on wood). Take a minute or two to look around. Although my site may not be as glitzy as some others, my art work sort of speaks for itself. A few of my more notable subjects include: Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr., Jeff Gordon, Tiger Woods, Brett Favre, Mickey Mantle, Elvis Presley, John Wayne, and Marilyn Monroe. You'll also find prints of other sport's figures, celebrities, wildlife (including some very colorful birds and butterflies), plus a few commissioned examples. The prints are available in a 8 x 10" size (a very popular framing size), and the art cards are 2.5 x 3.5" in size (these are more commonly known as ACEOs). ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. They're the same size as a regular baseball trading card. They can also be matted and/or framed... and are great little gift ideas. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, John Wayne, Mickey Mantle, Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe are my best sellers in this unique fine art card format.
